Job Description

Business Development:

  • Responsible for expanding new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Identify and engage potential clients.
  • Create and develop comprehensive business plans and account strategies.
  • Oversee the sales process for new leads, including initial contact, discovery phases, meetings, and contract negotiations.

Account Management:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to gather market intelligence as needed.
  • Work with the presales team, partners, and relevant departments to create customer proposals.
  • Ensure deals are properly finalized, and contracts/POs are signed off to mitigate risk.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Operations:

  • Develop the team through coaching and training to enhance skills.
  • Contribute to process improvements within internal, inter-company, and external workflows.

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role overseeing a team of 5-10 members.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in IT outsourcing services.
  • A track record of achieving sales volumes between $300K-$500K is advantageous.
  • Proficient in verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in Japanese; familiarity with Japanese culture and previous residence in Japan is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to visit customer sites as needed.
