Job Description
- Developing new customers and investigate and plan the most appropriate route for a shipment
- Recommend transportation solutions based on customer needs to minimize cost or environmental impact
- Selling our company's logistics services, including but not limited to warehouse service, trucking service and LTL/FTL, port drayage service
- Negotiate shipping rates with freight carriers
- Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications
- Maintain customer relationships and actively develop new customers
- 2+ years of sales experience in international freight forwarding, international logistics and import or export companies (including shipping companies, airlines, etc.), preferably familiar with the U.S. logistics market
- Strong work ethic and a strong desire for success
- Good oral and written English skills
- Have customer resources a big plus
