Our client is a prestigious fragrances brand that is looking to hire a Retail Project Manager (Popups & Kiosks) to setup and manage their kiosks, booths, and pop-up stores in high-traffic shopping malls in Vietnam.
In this role, you will be be scouting and negotiating lease locations, coordinating store layouts, and overseeing construction and installation while ensuring operational efficiency and brand consistency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify prime locations for kiosks and pop-up stores in shopping malls based on foot traffic, target demographics, and lease terms.
- Negotiate leasing agreements and partnerships with mall operators and landlords.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute booth/store setup, ensuring compliance with mall regulations and company branding.
- Work closely with design and construction teams to develop layouts that maximize space efficiency and visual appeal.
- Oversee installation, store openings, and ongoing maintenance, resolving operational challenges as they arise.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for all store development projects.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for expansion.
- Ensure all retail spaces meet safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize customer engagement and sales performance at retail locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in store development and retail expansion - especially involving popup/kiosk setup and management. Candidates who do not possess this experience will not be considered.
- No industry requirements - but a strong preference for candidates that come from luxury goods, beauty, or fragrances.
- Strong understanding of retail leasing, contract negotiations, and shopping mall operations.
- Experience working with architects, contractors, and mall management for store setup.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple site openings simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel to different mall locations as needed.
- Fluent or near-fluent in English. Fluent in Vietnamese.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
