Job Description

What You'll Do:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop sales forecasts and strategies to achieve targets, analyzing sales data, client trends, and related reports.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities in new markets or with existing clients.

Sales Policy Implementation:

  • Improve sales processes, policies, and document management, ensuring compliance and tracking with authorizations.

Team Management and Support:

  • Build and lead a sales team with a sales-driven and teamwork spirit.
  • Establish a highly motivated sales structure with clearly defined career paths for each team member.
  • Provide sales teams with necessary tools, resources, and training to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Consult team members on selling activities and maintaining client relationships.
  • Manage and assess the performance of team members.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members.

Risk Management:

  • Assess and manage risks associated with business development activities.

Client Acquisition:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with SME clients for products such as Payroll Financing and Earned Wage Access.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling, securing meetings with key decision makers. Responsible for pipeline and conversion management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand evolving requirements, provide ongoing support, and generate referrals.

Market & Competitor Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and SME financing needs.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or relationship management in the financial industry, with a focus on SMEs. Background in Bank's Relationship Management (RM) division, Bank's Payroll division, or Consumer Finance business development is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SME financing needs and challenges.
  • Target planning and organizing skills.
  • Leadership and project management capabilities.
  • High integrity, fairness, and teamwork.
  • Excellent networking and prospecting skills to generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey the value proposition of Payroll Financing and EWA products.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in complex, changing, and ambiguous environments.
  • Target-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented.
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills.
