Job Description
- Consult, develop, and execute the automation test approach, automation test solution for the projects.
- Provide technical direction by setting priorities and providing an automation test roadmap or the project.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss and agree on automation testing approach and follow it up in new automation test opportunities.
- Build automated testing frameworks/tools and scripts for driving application tests
- Define, design the test case, implement, and maintain the test cases and automation test scripts.
- Manage and lead the test automation engineers in the project. This includes conducting code reviews, training test automation engineers on new coding and testing methodologies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Contribute to the building of continuous Integration (CI) environment and ongoing Process improvement activities.
- Collaborative with project team to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, and troubleshoot issues.
- Research, develop and train the new technical skillsets for the team.
- Do manual testing when the project needed.
- To perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager and Project Manager.
- University level with bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalence.
- Experience in automation test by using different automation testing framework/approaches.
- Understand a different kind of automated tested frameworks and automated testing approaches.
- Have 3+ years of experience in automation test by using the automated test framework for web and mobile applications.
- Experience in building and enhancing different kind of automated test framework using Selenium WebDriver
- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies, automated testing tools, and processes.
- Proficiency on using automation test by scripting with any object-oriented programming language.
- Experience in working with the continuous delivery deployment framework.
- Experience in using different testing technique in the test design for manual and automation test
- Experience in working with agile/scrum methodology.
- Experience in using BDD and NON-BDD Automated Test Frameworks
- Good knowledge of SCM tools including Git, subversion.
- Good English communication skills.
- Technical background with experience in as many of the following as possible: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, JMeter, Postman/Newman, Rest-Assured, OWASP.
