Job Description

  • Technical Support & SLA Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers after product go-live.
  • Perform first-level investigation of technical issues (classifying bugs vs. service requests).
  • Coordinate with the Engineering team to resolve complex issues while ensuring strict adherence to SLAs.
  • Project & Delivery Oversight:
  • Manage customer expectations and project timelines for post-launch phases.
  • Handle Change Requests (CR) and coordinate periodic production updates for customizations or bug fixes.
  • Support the delivery team and assist the accounting team with monthly service reconciliation.
  • Client Relationship & Growth (Farming):
  • Maintain deep "know-how" of each customer's specific system and customized features.
  • Identify potential client needs to "farm" and grow existing accounts.
  • Support the sales team in tender bidding processes from a technical perspective.

Job requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in technical roles such as Technical Support Engineer, Application Support, QA/QC, or Junior Business Analyst.
  • Prior experience working in a Software product company or an Outsourcing environment with a strong product mindset is highly preferred.

Technical Competencies

  • Database Management: Proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) to perform data lookups, verify system logic, and run diagnostic queries.
  • System Analysis: Strong ability to perform First-level Investigation, including reading system logs and using browser developer tools to identify root causes.
  • API Knowledge: Solid understanding of Web Services/APIs and experience using tools like Postman for testing and troubleshooting integrations.
  • Technical Documentation: Proven ability to translate complex technical issues into clear Bug Reports for the Engineering team and User Manuals for clients.

Professional & Soft Skills

  • Communication: Exceptional ability to "bridge the gap"—explaining technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders and business requirements to developers.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting with a focus on meeting SLA (Service Level Agreement) commitments.
  • Account Management: Ability to manage multiple client expectations simultaneously, maintain project timelines, and identify potential growth opportunities (Farming).
  • Language: Proficiency in English (Intermediate to Advanced) for effective communication with international clients (US, Japan, etc.) and reading technical documentation.

Preferred Attributes

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of Cloud concepts (AWS/Azure) and Microservices architecture.
  • Experience in Tender Bidding or supporting sales teams with technical proposals is a significant plus.
