QA Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Review and analyze User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and release plans to understand business rules end-to-end.
• Clarify requirements with the BA/PO early to close gaps before development starts.
• Create test plans, test scenarios, test cases, checklists and test data based on real business flows across multiple user roles (buyers, sellers/exhibitors, expo organizers, admins).
• Perform manual testing (Functional, Integration and Regression) on web platforms in the Staging and UAT environments.
• Verify data consistency between connected systems and portals, including localization (English/Vietnamese).
• Test from the end-user perspective to ensure a smooth, reliable user experience.
• Log and track bugs in Jira with clear steps to reproduce, environment details and evidence.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before each release.
• Support UAT with internal stakeholders and partners when required.
• Work closely with Developers, BA and PO in the Agile/Scrum process, from sprint planning to retrospective.
• Analyze the root causes of defects and suggest improvements to product quality and the QA process.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in Manual QA.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Good at analyzing business logic and multi-role workflows.
• Experience testing complex business flows on web applications.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to write clear, structured and detailed test cases and bug reports.
• Basic SQL knowledge to verify data.
• Experience in API testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Good communication skills and working English to read requirements and write test documentation.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

Nice to Have

• Experience in E-commerce / B2B Marketplace, SaaS projects.
• Experience testing event, live streaming or video platforms.
• Experience supporting UAT with clients or partners.
• Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (e.g., Playwright).
• Able to read system logs and use browser DevTools for troubleshooting.
