The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development, manage the project and build a strong relationship with our clients.

The person will need to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Oversee and manage all the aspects of the project. Experienced in Identifying the technical resources needed for the project and source these materials from client or other vendors. Process a high-level understanding of Programming languages. Check and ensure that all the technical devices and software used in a project are on top shape performance. Excellent client- facing and internal communication skill as well written and verbal communication skill.

The Responsibilities, skills, qualifications and experience

• Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience of working as a Project Manager, managing software development projects.
• Preferably shall be from Software Development background.
• Preferably shall be from Service based company.
• Should be well versed with Agile - Scrum
• Should have experience of managing technical people
• Must be excellent in verbal and written communication
• Must be very good at stakeholder management
• Must have a strong interpersonal skill, be flexible, adaptable and ambitious
• Nice to have ability to do Sales or business development
• Nice to Have PMP or PMI-ACP certification
• Delegate project tasks based on staff members individual strength, skill set and experience levels.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Ensure resource availability and allocations.
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
• Establish and maintain relationship with third party vendors.
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.

Your skills and experiences

• Project Management Skills, Agile – Scrum, Project Management Tools (like JIRA, MPP etc..), Team Management, Stakeholder Management, Budgeting, Schedule, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 8+ Years of experience out of which minimum 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager, managing software development projects
• Bachelors’ Degree.
• Be a curious person committed to learning and seeking mentoring
• Ability to apply structured thinking, simplifying complex problems into component parts, to the resolution
• of customer, business and commercial challenges
• Ability to look at a solution holistically and provide critical feedback
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to be able to establish rapport with people at all levels

• Strong communication skills. You are able to get your message understood clearly by adopting a range
• of styles, tools and techniques as appropriate to the audience and the nature of the information

• Excellent planning and organizational skills to successfully implement product changes and proactively

• Working in international virtual teams, across time-zones
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Managing vendor relationships.
• Provide strong leadership and clear direction to IT team members / project stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, to budget and with great clients
• Excellent planning, reporting and documentation skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and business relationship building skills
• Strong governance and attention to detail in their management of projects
• Ability to take ownership of the role and work autonomously
• Ability to work productively and professionally with team members, external stakeholders.
