• Architect and Tech Stack Design: Define system architecture and select technologies for core infrastructure, on-chain liquidity networks, and decentralized AI agents.
• MVP Development Leadership: Oversee hands-on development of the MVP with the current (initially outsourced) team, providing guidance, setting clear milestones, and transitioning hiring in-house.
• Roadmap Execution: Convert product roadmaps into phased delivery plans and track engineering progress using Linear (or a similar tool).
• Engineering Best Practices: Establish high standards across the software development lifecycle, including rapid delivery, clean code, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, security audits, on-chain monitoring, and incident response protocols.
• Smart Contract & Integration Oversight: Direct the design, auditing, and upgrade strategies for smart contracts, integrations with data oracles, DEXs, and L2s, while ensuring top-tier security.
• Decentralized AI Agents: Build AI agents capable of pricing, hedging, and rebalancing tokenized RWA positions in real time.
• Data & Analytics Infrastructure: Own data instrumentation, analytics pipelines, and on-chain telemetry to guide product decisions.
• Team & Culture Building: Recruit, lead, and inspire an engineering team that values ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Key Requirements

• Experience:
• 8+ years in software engineering across Web2 TradFi/fintech and Web3 DeFi or RWA projects.
• At least 2 years in a scaled Web2 TradFi/fintech environment.
• 3+ years in CeFi or DeFi with at least one long-term (18+ months) role at a successful, scaled DeFi, CeFi, or RWA project.
• Technical Leadership: Previous experience as a founding engineer, CTO, or Head/Director of Engineering on Web3 projects.
• Track Record: Designed, shipped, and scaled at least one on-chain protocol or DeFi platform managing >$10M TVL.
• Core Skills:
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and best practices, including vendor management for external technical components.
• Deep expertise in blockchain technology, smart contract development, and DeFi applications.
• Proficiency in Solidity/Vyper, EVM tooling, L2/cross-chain solutions, key management, and contract security.
• AI & Data Knowledge: Hands-on experience (personal or professional) with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), data engineering, and reinforcement learning.
• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional ability to explain complex architectures to non-technical stakeholders and inspire top engineering talent.
• DeFi & Governance: Strong understanding of DeFi primitives (AMMs, lending, staking, perpetuals), token standards (ERC-20/4626/4337), and on-chain governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in traditional credit, market-making, or high-frequency trading technology.
• Experience with AI-driven market-making, treasury management, or quantitative trading systems.
• Previous involvement in RWA tokenization (e.g., private credit, real estate, structured notes).
