Principal Frontend Engineer (ReactJS/AI)

• Oversee the development of the AI Agent platform or application from scratch, ensuring top-notch performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Design and build complex user interfaces that work seamlessly with backend APIs, real-time agent outputs, and developer tools.
• Work closely with design and product teams to turn user requirements and business objectives into scalable, elegant user interfaces.
• Identify and integrate modern tools, frameworks, and practices to boost frontend engineering productivity and code maintainability.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members by helping them enhance their frontend expertise and apply best practices.
• Provide technical leadership within a cross-functional team—spanning frontend, backend, AI, and SRE engineers, and steer the overall development process.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical

Essential:

• 8+ years of experience in web development.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Modern frontend architecture and state management (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Component-based UI design and performance tuning.
• Frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest).
• Browser rendering mechanics and accessibility standards.

Experience with:

• Next.js and Webpack.
• Git-based version control workflows.
• Docker and containerized development.
• Monitoring and debugging using tools like Datadog or Rollbar.
• Deploying and maintaining frontend applications in production.
• Agile development processes.

Preferred:

• Experience with:
• Integrating AI APIs, particularly LLM-based outputs.
• Reading and navigating backend code (Python/FastAPI).
• MySQL or basic relational database principles.
• Additional experience with:
• B2B SaaS product development, especially for back-office solutions.
• Collaborating on API design and integration with backend engineers.
• Web performance profiling and monitoring web vitals.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline automation.

Communication

• Proven experience leading a project or serving as a team lead (required for leader positions).
• Experience mentoring or coaching team members.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Business-level proficiency in English (reading and writing).
