Job Description

  • Provide support to the sales team including but not limited to areas of pricing, contracts preparation, administrative, documentation and ad-hoc support.
  • Conduct research and market intelligence work to facilitate formulation of business development plans and strategies.
  • Prepare commercial and pricing analysis, develop pricing models and methodology
  • Ensure timely responses to customers’ requests for proposals and quotation and follow up to secure such business.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to put together a strategy proposal deck for the clients.
  • Preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations and solutions in timely manner and with utmost professionalism.
  • Work with the team to ensure customers are satisfied with their experience during the sales process.
  • Preparation of logistics services agreements/contracts, including liasing with legal advisor/authority where necessary.
  • Assist in facilitating smooth implementation of contractual agreements.
  • Supervise the work of sales support staff and to ensure adherence to quality standards are being met.
  • Monitor progress update of projects, initiate and implement process improvements to ensure project success.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Degree in Business / Marketing / Logistics or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development in a Contract Logistics environment;
  • In depth knowledge of logistics and related activities such warehousing, transport/distribution and customs clearing operations.
  • Able to understand basic contractual agreements and facilitate the process of contract negotiation
  • Understanding of costing term sheets
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and a team player.
  • Highly analytical. Proficient in business presentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
