Job Summary
The Sales Manager for Lending Banking Products is responsible for driving the sales of lending products in Credit Loan Origination, Assessment and Management, Commercial and Retail Loan
Origination, Collateral & Limits Management systems, Loans Management Systems, Collections & Debt Recovery Systems, in alignment with organizational goals. The role requires achieving sales targets, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in the competitive lending market across SEA/APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement sales strategies for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual lending product sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and competition to identify sales opportunities and develop actionable plans.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
2. Business Development
- Identify and cultivate new customer acquisition channels, including partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer retention.
- Leverage digital platforms and technology to drive lead generation and enhance customer outreach.
3. Operational Excellence
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and compliance standards in selling lending products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, legal, operations, and marketing) to ensure seamless sales processes.
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations for management, highlighting performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to refine sales tactics and improve conversion rates.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of banking and lending products in Retail and Corporate Loans Origination products and other lending products.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in banking or financial services, specifically in lending product sales.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics and customer behaviour.
- Certification in financial products or lending services (optional but advantageous).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of sales targets (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
- Customer acquisition and retention rates.
- Conversion rates of leads to disbursals.
Work Environment
- This is a target-driven role with significant fieldwork and customer interactions.
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned region as needed.
