Job Description

Our client is an emerging player in the third-party testing and certification industry looking to add team members to their newly-established branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.


In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer products meet local and international requirements for conformity and product safety. Ultimately, your duties will include producing certificates, technical reports, general coordination, and offering expert service to customers to support the overall compliance process.


We prefer candidates who have experience with certification and CE markings, as most of the customer products are exported to the EU. Strong English language skills is also a must - please do not apply if you do not feel confident in speaking, reading, and writing English at a normal pace and on a regular basis.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conduct inspection and assessment of products as-needed to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare detailed product reports and documentation according to regulatory standards.
  • Support sales and marketing teams by offering product safety and conformity expertise.
  • Create and document test procedures for safety evaluations.
  • Correspond with customers and relevant product safety agencies (e.g., UL, CSA, VDE) regarding product design approaches and safety standards.
  • Stay abreast of evolving product safety regulations, testing procedures, and technological advancements.
  • Validate customer requirements, which may include conducting site visits.
  • Occasionally, perform on-site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist customers and internal teams throughout the safety testing program to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work within the framework of ISO 17025 to maintain standards and quality in all testing and assessments.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Open to all levels of candidates (1-10 years) as long as they have hands-on experience in certification, product safety, and conformity - especially for the EU market. Specialists, engineers, and technicians are welcome to apply.
  • Strong English speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for site inspections and client requirement validation.
  • Experience working within ISO 17025 or similar quality systems.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
