Your main responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of the existing code base, developing new features and functionality.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Participate in solution design and development, deliver high-quality code.
• Learn and ensure best practices in terms of scalability, performance, and code standard.
• Work closely with the team leader and project manager to ensure your projects are on track.
• Work with technical lead to research and stay on top of PHP development best practices.

You are perfect for this position if:

• You were previously experienced with creating scalable applications.
• You write maintainable code that is well thought out and can be reused across multiple projects.
• You are independent and fearless. When we give you a difficult task, you know how to do research and quickly develop technical solutions.
• You do your own QA before passing your work back for review.
• You are also a team player who supports other teammates and happily train or guide less experienced developers.

• Basic English reading comprehension.
• Experience with Advanced Laravel (Middleware, Request, Repositories, and Service Containers).
• Solid working experience building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL databases.
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git.

The following skills are NOT REQUIRED, but huge bonus points if you have them (if you don’t, no worries, you’ll learn on the job):

• WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), and HTML5.

• Total annual income equivalent to 14 months of salary (standard salary + Tet + bonus).
