JOB SUMMARY

The Data Programmer is a key member of the development team, tasked to develop and build a data management platform to integrate data systems (School Information Systems, Library, Security (gate system), and Bussing. The team is responsible for gathering requirements, designing, constructing, integrating, testing, verifying, and maintaining the system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage well-functioning applications and databases.
• Writing clean, functional code on the front-end and back-end.
• Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures; Review code for potential performance issues, reusability, and/or anomalies. 
• Detail unit testing of code. 
• Troubleshoot client problems both remotely and onsite. 
• Research and identify the cause of reported defects and issues. 
• Develop patches and defect fixes. 
• Perform and assist with quality assurance activities as needed. 
• Participate in training and/or customer support activities as needed. 
• Other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience

• BSc in computer science, computer engineering, or information system.
• Strong knowledge and experience in programming and software development.
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
• Database Development and integration (MS SQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Postgres, Oracle, Json).
• Web Application Development:
• Front-end: Javascript, JQuery, ReactJS, Flux, CSS, HTML 
• Back-end: Python
• CMS: Django, WordPress, TikiWiki
• Version Control Software (GIT, Gitlab).
• Tools/Platforms: Active Directory, Nginx, Docker, Docker Builder, Shell/Bash scripting, Visual Studio Code, Powershell.
• Operating System: MacOS/Linux

WELFARE REGIME

- Wage agreement;

+ 1 year experience $800-$1000

+ 2- 5 years experience $1000- $1500

+ Over 5 years experience > $1,500
