• Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Provide executive-level leadership for the IT department including training, task management & fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Drive digital innovation and transformation initiatives to enhance the organization's competitiveness.
• Identify and leverage emerging technologies that can deliver business value.
• Develop and maintain robust cybersecurity strategies to protect the organization's digital assets.
• Mitigate cyber threats and respond to security incidents.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT services.
• Allocate resources, vendors and partners effectively to meet project and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and business units to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
• Develop and manage the IT budget to propose to the CEO.
• Report and consult the CEO about the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, IT System/Network, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• 8+ YOEs as CIO or similar role.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology strategies with overall company objectives.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and leading diverse technology teams. In-depth knowledge of infrastructure, network, cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Excellent understanding of intellectual property and data security.
