Bridge Engineer (Java/NET/PHP)

• Build designs, develop, and test systems in the Securities and Banking sector for Japanese clients.
• Proactively and/or collaboratively work with team members and clients to develop/deploy IT solutions according to assigned tasks.
• Research, search for, and propose IT solutions/innovations for clients.
• Receive client requests, understand them, directly or relay them to offshore team members, review results, and deliver to clients.
• Work location: Tokyo.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Information Technology Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in .NET/PHP/JAVA/Mobile languages.
• JLPT N3 or above, capable of communicating and working directly with Japanese clients. Able to read and understand Japanese specifications, and communicate with team members and offshore teams.
• Previous experience in projects for Japanese clients.
• Solid understanding of basic IT knowledge, DB, Infra, BackEnd, familiarity with Japanese culture, and responsibility towards work.

Nice to have:

• Individuals currently residing in Japan or with a desire for a long-term stay in Japan.
• Understanding of Securities and Financial business operations is an advantage.
