- As the primary contact person from the company to customers within the defined market area served by the company products.
- The position is responsible for the development of a sustainable and profitable new business and the protection of running the business, promoting company products to existing and potential customers, and co-coordinating supervisor, accounting, warehouse & assistant functions.
- The position is responsible to provide high-level sales support for the company’s customers.
- To represent externally the interests of the company in the defined market. This representation can be achieved in many ways. By:
+ Visiting customers and potential customers, presenting company products (and the company in general), striving to develop business either through commercial means or through the proposal of development projects.
+ Building a network of contacts across several functions: purchasing, technical, and logistics in order to create and maintain customer loyalty to the company.
+ Attending trade fairs and seminars.
- To negotiate, within the framework of agreed limits, prices, contracts, and supply agreements, payment terms and ensures correct behavior from the customer regarding the settlement.
- To handle prompt commercial inquiries from the customer, including complaints, and to be accountable for their completion even when other stakeholders are involved.
- To manage information flow to customers accurately and timely about product or packaging changes, cancellations, supply shortages, logistics problems, etc.
- To write after each visits a concise visit report with relevant circulation and clear actions. These reports should also include:
+ Accurate information regarding the customer, market, and competitor actions.
+ Forecast information and any other information regarding the customer as may be requested on an ad hoc basis.
- Undertake all activities required to efficiently extend, developing, and penetrating the market.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or Economics.
- Experience in additive for plastic industry: PVC, masterbatch, compound…
- Proficient in English, knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales or 1 year of experience in chemical sales, preferably in the paint and ink industry.
- Ability to propose and implement new business projects to achieve sales targets.
- Potential leadership skills for career development in the future.
- Maturity, proactivity, independence, strong teamwork spirit, and the ability to work in a professional and challenging environment.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.).
- Priority given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience working in global companies or having connections in the chemical industry.
