Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Delivery Leadership Lead the full project lifecycle from kickoff to handover, ensuring a team of 10 to 20 people operates effectively and meets client commitments. QA Leads and PMs may report directly into this role.
  • Client Communication Serve as the primary point of contact with the client: provide regular project status updates, identify and present risks clearly, and propose solutions when issues arise. Clients should feel confident and well-informed when working with this person.
  • Technical Guidance Bring enough technical depth to participate in architecture discussions, review proposed solutions, and unblock developers when they hit technical challenges. This person does not need to be the best coder on the team, but developers should respect their technical judgment.
  • Team Orchestration Coordinate across disciplines within the team (developers, QA, BA where applicable), identify bottlenecks early in the delivery process, and resolve them proactively before they impact timelines.
  • Scaling Support Help the organization grow its delivery capacity as the number of projects increases, contributing to the development of sustainable processes and working standards.


Job requirement

  • Experience: Min 7 to 10 years in the software industry, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role within an outsourcing or client-facing product delivery environment.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 10 or more people, including both developers and QA.
  • Technical Skills Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with the ability to engage meaningfully in system design, application architecture, and technical planning conversations. No requirement to specialize in a specific language, but strong technical reasoning is essential.
  • Communication Skills Strong business-level English, particularly in a client-facing context with Singapore or Southeast Asian stakeholders. Able to present status updates, risk reports, and escalations in a clear and structured manner.
  • Mindset and Attitude Proactive and capable of making independent decisions in ambiguous situations. This person does not wait to be told what to do at each step. They navigate project uncertainty with confidence and initiative.
