JOB DESCRIPTION

• Investigate and analyze the root causes of defective products, abnormal errors, and unknown issues occurring during the production process. This includes collecting relevant data, observing actual phenomena, and conducting detailed analysis to accurately identify root causes.
• Perform fault reproduction activities to validate issues and confirm root causes. Work closely with Production, QA/QC, Engineering, R&D, and other related departments to ensure problems are fully understood and properly addressed.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to propose and implement effective countermeasures for identified issues. Ensure that solutions are practical, sustainable, and aligned with production and quality requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented countermeasures. Follow up on results to confirm that corrective actions successfully prevent recurrence of the same or similar issues in the production process.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports, maintain fault-related data, and analyze error trends. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defective or spoiled goods and enhancing overall production stability. Contribute ideas and actions to improve yield rate and process efficiency.
• Communicate technically with suppliers when necessary to address quality-related issues, clarify technical concerns, and ensure alignment on standards and corrective actions.
• Support and collaborate with other departments in handling technical issues and daily operational tasks to ensure smooth production and problem resolution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• College or University degree in Electrical – Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related technical fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in positions such as Process Engineer (PE), Quality Engineer (QE), Fault Analysis Engineer, or Production Engineer, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical thinking skills with high attention to detail, carefulness, and perseverance in problem-solving.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to understand and work with technical documentation.
• Familiarity with problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys and Ishikawa (Fishbone Diagram) is a strong advantage.
• Good in English or Japanese
