Senior Backend Developer (PHP)

• Participate in the development and redevelopment of existing Windows system screens into a Web-based system using PHP (Laravel). 
• Work closely with the Vietnam engineering team and the Japan-side Engineers / PLs / PMs during system development and maintenance. 
• Analyze business requirements from the existing system and design documents to implement them on the Web platform. 
• Maintain, modify, and enhance system functionalities based on ongoing requests from Line Manager.
• Ensure code quality while adhering to development processes and project standards. 
• Actively research and integrate emerging technical trends and industry best practices to enhance system performance, security, and scalability.

Job requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Have 5 years of experience in Backend Engineer (PHP/Laravel).
• Have strong experience in Laravel, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Unit Test and MySQL.
• Have good understanding of Git, AWS, MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Be strong sense of responsibility and long-term commitment.
• Be self-disciplined, good critical thinking, and excellent at problem-solving.

Preferred qualifications

• Have working experience with Japanese clients.
• Have knowledge of C#/ Windows Applications is a plus.
• Preferred candidates with experience in Enterprise systems such as CRM or customer management systems.
• Expected to learn and work with additional technologies.
