• Develop overall project plans and organize project execution to ensure alignment with the defined schedule.
• Manage project scope, establish scope baseline, and control changes in accordance with processes to minimize scope creep.
• Monitor and control actual progress against the plan, analyze variances, and proactively forecast time lines to propose timely corrective actions.
• Identify, assess impact levels, and implement mitigation plans for risks/issues throughout the project life cycle.
• Ensure product quality and coordinate acceptance with customers in line with commitments.
• Manage stakeholders, maintain positive collaboration, and ensure transparent communication among all parties.
• Identify resource needs, plan allocation, and optimize resource utilization across project phases.
• Communicate effectively with customers through reports, emails, and meeting minutes; facilitate meetings, handle Q&A, and present issues/risks/change requests in a logical, clear, and persuasive manner.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Experience:

• Minimum 05 years of experience in software development/ITO environments.
• At least 03 years in a Project Manager role for Japanese clients, project size from 8MM or above (or BrSE Lead with project ownership).
• Led at least 02 full life cycle projects (initiation → planning → execution → acceptance/closure).
• Strong capability in project planning; establishing and managing baselines (scope/schedule/cost); tracking and analyzing variances to control performance.
• Ability to operate change control processes.
• Strong capability in identifying, assessing, and managing risks/issues.
• Proficient in project management tools (Jira/Confluence/…).

• Strong communication, management, and presentation skills.
• Coaching and team development capabilities.
• Ability to drive team performance.
• Attitude: proactive, flexible, sharp mindset, and strong sense of responsibility.

Mandatory Requirements:

• At least 02 years in a Project Manager role for Japanese clients, project size from 8MM or above.

Preferred:

• Japanese proficiency from N2 level, able to communicate independently with clients.
• PMP, PSM/CSM certifications.

• Annual leave: 10 days in the first year; increasing in subsequent years in accordance with Japanese labor law.
• Public holidays: According to the company’s holiday schedule.
• Days off: Saturdays and Sundays.
• Working hours: 8 hours per day, arranged based on the working schedule of the client company where employees are onsite.
• Bonus: Negotiable (13th-month salary), paid on New Year’s Day.
