Project Leader cum Bridge Software Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop the in-house version of ChatGPT using OpenAI 4.0 
• The AI platform, which is the infrastructure part, is built on Azure, and the in-house team will operate and manage it. 
• The project focuses on the Japanese market (Client internal system) 
• Lead and manage software/system development projects, ensuring successful delivery within given timeframes and budgets. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze the project scope and objectives, translating them into actionable plans for the development team. 
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. 
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team, assisting with complex problem-solving and ensuring high-quality deliverables. 
• Manage customer expectations and provide advice or propose new features or functions. 
• Measure, establish, and manage project schedules and work plans to ensure all parties meet project requirements, deadlines, budgets, and goals. 
• Act as a bridge between the engineering team and management, providing technical advice and reporting any issues to the CTO/CEO. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have: 

• Bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, computer science, or a relevant field. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Industry, with at least 3 years as Project Leader/Manager cum Bridge Software/System Engineer. 
• At least Japanese N2 or equivalent level. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels. 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a logical and analytical mindset. 
• Strong technical skills in software/system engineering, with expertise in relevant programming languages, platforms, or tools. 
• Team management experience, at least 3 members. 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in app development project management especially AI projects. 
• Ability to think logically to understand complex business systems.
