Job Description

  • Responsible for planning and controlling of production activities, processes and maintenance program to ensure timely delivery to fulfill customer's requirement.
  • Responsible for optimum utilization of manpower, machineries and materials.
  • To monitor and improve production processes, identify problems and take appropriate action for correction & prevention.
  • Monitors the facility’s equipment needs and ensures that the technical team is working to keep the company’s equipment and physical facility are properly maintained.
  • Understands the technical aspects of the facility’s manufacturing processes so as to provide support to departmental personnel.
  • Ensures that quality standards are understood and meet acceptable limits in the manufacturing and distribution process. Assures that policies and documentation are current and facility is compliant with customer audit requirements.
  • Manage and maintain labor and operating costs in accordance with budgets and strategic goals.
  • Oversees the hiring and training of facility personnel. Works with Human Resources to seek out ways to motivate and develop employees.
  • Checking, assessing and reporting monthly to Director on the production situation, labour efficiency, production process and abnormalities (if any) at the factory.
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
  • Possess strong leadership qualities, resourceful, energetic and effective negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, result driven, analytical and demonstrate high level of initiative, discipline and drive.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 or other quality management systems
  • Possess working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial, Engineering or Business.
  • 15 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably currently having same role in a manufacturing company OR with at least 10 years of increasing management responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in managing continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
