Job Description
We are looking for a Manual Tester / QA Engineer to join our development team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our products.
You will work closely with Developers and other team members to understand requirements, design test cases, identify issues, and verify that product features work as expected.
Responsibilities
- Review product requirements and specifications to identify test scenarios and potential issues.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform manual testing for web applications and software products.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear steps to reproduce and relevant evidence.
- Work closely with Developers to investigate issues and verify bug fixes.
- Perform regression testing for new releases and product updates.
- Test APIs and verify data returned from different services when required.
- Perform basic database/data validation to ensure data is processed and displayed correctly.
- Contribute to improving testing processes, test documentation, and overall product quality.
- Proactively identify potential risks and edge cases that may affect product quality.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA, with solid experience in Manual Testing.
- Good understanding of software testing principles and SDLC.
- Experience writing clear and effective test cases and bug reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Ability to understand product requirements and identify potential edge cases.
- Basic experience with API testing and tools such as Postman is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git or other issue/task management tools is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with Developers and other team members.
- Experience with testing AI/NLP-based products is a major plus.
- Open mindset, and the willingness to contribute ideas to products.
