Job Description
- Collaborate with other data engineers to design and implement data pipelines to collect, store, and process large volumes of data.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
- Develop and automate data processing systems (batch and/or streaming) to drive business growth and improve the product experience.
- Build and maintain optimized data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions to provide analysis and real-time analytics platform for critical decision making.
- Develop and maintain data stores, including warehouses, data lakes, data marts, etc., to support the BI and operational research initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring the data quality of data pipelines in the data platform.
- Follow best practices and standards for data management and engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 1+ years of experience working in a Data Engineer role, handling large volumes of data through ETL processes.
- Good at English skills.
- Familiarity with ETL tasks, dimensional data models, and developing effective ETL processes to support business needs.
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Hive.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and eagerness to learn from other data engineers.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and ability to make data-driven decisions.
