About the Role

As the Lead Full Stack Engineer, you'll spearhead the technical strategy and execution of our state-of-the-art insurance enterprise software solutions. You will lead and mentor a dynamic team of engineers, driving the development, design, and ongoing enhancement of our SaaS platform. By working closely with stakeholders and harnessing cutting-edge technologies, you'll play a critical role in architecting scalable solutions and delivering exceptional quality software.

What You Will Do

• Direct the entire development lifecycle of our SaaS platform, from conception through deployment to ongoing maintenance, aligning with both business goals and technical specifications.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Full Stack Engineers, promoting professional growth and fostering a collaborative environment through regular coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to transform business needs into robust technical solutions, prioritizing tasks based on impact and feasibility.
• Lead architectural discussions, define coding standards, and establish best practices to ensure platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews, uphold quality standards, and advocate for continuous enhancement through effective testing methodologies and automation.
• Identify and address technical debt and scalability challenges, spearheading initiatives to boost system performance and efficiency.
• Lead security and compliance efforts, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and implementing robust security protocols.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, assessing their applicability to our platform and promoting innovative practices within the team.

What We Need

• Proven leadership experience in a technical role with a strong track record of guiding engineering teams in developing complex SaaS solutions.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack development, with proficiency in technologies like Node.js, Vue.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with skills in architecting and deploying resilient, scalable applications.
• A deep understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), comprehensive testing practices, and experience with automated testing tools.
• Strong command of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of web security protocols, with practical experience in implementing security measures and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure solutions; familiarity with Nest.js is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a proactive and results-driven approach to challenges.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry developments.
