• Define and execute the AI strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and delivering across research, engineering, and quality assurance.
• Translate quantitative models and policy logic into reliable production services with safeguards, deterministic simulations, and backtesting frameworks.
• Implement progressive delivery practices such as feature flags, TVL gates, canary cohorts, dark launches, and rollback mechanisms.
• Establish platform service-level objectives and risk thresholds, reinforcing infrastructure resilience through retries, idempotency, and RPC failover.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage AI/automation engineers and QA professionals, coordinate with security consultants, and collaborate on infrastructure management.

Key Deliverables & Outcomes:

• Develop strategy services interacting with Sui/Move smart contracts and DEX venues, with reconciliation for partial or stuck transactions.
• Build observability frameworks with logging, tracing, and metrics for fee capture, impermanent loss, PnL variations, and latency.
• Establish deterministic simulations, backtesting frameworks, shadow order systems, and A/B policy testing.
• Deliver at least two production strategy enhancements per month through staged rollouts.
• Maintain a change-failure rate under 2%, rollback time under 5 minutes, and zero user-loss regressions.
• Improve net fee capture and IL-adjusted returns compared with baseline performance.
• Create a unified backtest/simulation environment and policy registry with audit trails for one-click promotion from staging to production.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 6–10+ years in backend, quantitative, or ML-driven systems, including at least 2 years in leadership (Tech Lead, Manager, or Head).
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python (research/simulations) and TypeScript/Go/Rust (service development). Willingness to learn Move/Sui.
• DeFi Expertise: Hands-on experience with AMMs/CLMMs (e.g., Uniswap v3-style) and at least one money market. Deep understanding of LP mechanics, pricing ranges, impermanent loss, and fee structures.
• Delivery & Observability: Proven track record in progressive delivery (feature flags, canaries, staged rollouts) and system monitoring (metrics, tracing, SLOs).
• Blockchain Integration: Strong knowledge of on-chain integrations, wallet/signing workflows, gas/nonce management, and idempotent job design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Modeling: Experience with reinforcement learning or bandit algorithms for policy optimization and parameter tuning.
• Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with the Sui ecosystem (Cetus, Momentum, FlowX) and cross-venue routing.
• Data & Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, Kafka/PubSub, Prometheus, Grafana, and incident response practices.
• Security: Strong security mindset with expertise in threat modeling, secrets management, and audit coordination.
