Job Description

  • Lead risk management, fraud prevention, and compliance activities across platform operations.
  • Identify potential risks, suspicious activities, and operational vulnerabilities; propose and implement mitigation actions.
  • Analyze data and business trends to improve risk detection capabilities and strengthen control frameworks.
  • Review and optimize existing risk rules, monitoring mechanisms, and operational processes to improve effectiveness.
  • Handle cases related to policy violations, brand protection, intellectual property concerns, and platform abuse.
  • Monitor regulatory and industry developments, recommending necessary updates to internal practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders on risk-related initiatives and projects.
  • Provide risk assessments and recommendations to support business decisions and expansion plans.
  • Lead and develop a small team while ensuring alignment with business objectives.


Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management, Fraud Prevention, Compliance, Trust & Safety, or related functions.
  • Previous exposure to e-commerce, digital platforms, fintech, payments, online marketplaces, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of fraud detection practices, transaction monitoring, operational risk controls, and compliance management.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property protection, policy enforcement, or platform governance is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights to support decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Experience using analytical tools, databases, or reporting solutions is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading projects or managing small teams is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications related to risk, fraud, compliance, audit, finance, or cybersecurity are beneficial.
  • English proficiency for business communication and cross-functional collaboration.
