Key Responsibilities

FP&A Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial planning cycles

• Conduct in-depth variance analysis and communicate key performance drivers

• Build and maintain financial models for investment, growth, and cost decisions

• Drive continuous improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting cadence

• Prepare management reports, board packs, and business review presentations

• Partner with business units to deliver financial guidance and scenario modelling

• Support P&L ownership and capital allocation planning at business-unit level

• Collaborate with regional teams for consolidated APAC and group reporting

CONTROLLERSHIP Controllership & Accounting

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close to strict deadlines

• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, and intercompany reconciliations

• Design, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and policies

• Manage tax provisioning, GST filings, and transfer pricing documentation

• Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS, GAAP, or local standards

• Manage external auditor relationships and coordinate audit deliverables

• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements — ACRA, IRAS

• Drive balance sheet substantiation and chart of accounts governance

TRANSFORMATION Financial Transformation

• Lead finance transformation across ERP, reporting, and process redesign

• Drive automation through digital tools, RPA, and workflow solutions

• Define and track KPIs, milestones, and benefit realisation metrics

• Liaise with technology vendors, integrators, and implementation partners

• Conduct current-state assessments and develop future-state operating blueprints

• Manage stakeholder alignment across Finance, IT, and business functions

• Build change management plans and support capability development

• Document SOPs and ensure effective knowledge transfer post-implementation

ANALYTICS Financial Analytics

• Design and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and performance frameworks

• Build predictive models, trend analyses, and scenario planning tools

• Develop self-service analytics capabilities across business stakeholder groups

• Support automation of routine reporting using BI and analytics platforms

• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership

• Collaborate with data and IT teams to ensure data quality and pipeline integrity

• Conduct deep-dive profitability, cost, and revenue analytics across business units

• Champion a data-driven finance culture across the organisation

RISK & AUDIT Risk Management & Internal Audit

• Develop and maintain ERM frameworks and enterprise risk registers

• Assess effectiveness of internal controls and recommend remediation plans

• Prepare audit findings, management letters, and track remediation to closure

• Conduct fraud risk assessments and support investigations where required

• Plan and execute risk-based internal audits across finance, operations, and compliance

• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure applicable financial compliance

• Provide independent assurance to Board, Audit Committee, and senior leadership

• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and compliance teams on all audit matters

Qualifications & Skills

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field

• Equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of formal academic qualifications

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS — Preferred, not mandatory

Certifications demonstrate technical credibility and are advantageous. Candidates actively pursuing certifications are equally welcome to apply.

• CPA, CA (ICA EW / ICAI / equivalent), or ACCA — for Controllership and FP&A

• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) — for Risk & Audit roles

• CFA — preferred for FP&A and Financial Analytics roles

• FRM (Financial Risk Manager) — for Risk Management roles

TOOLS & TECHNOLOGY — Hands-on exposure strongly preferred

Working knowledge of at least 2-3 relevant platforms within your function is expected. Tool expertise can be deepened on the job.

• ERP: SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Financials, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics

• BI & Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling — expected across all roles

• Planning & Consolidation: Hyperion, Anaplan, IBM Planning Analytics

• Data tools: SQL, Python, or equivalent — preferred for Analytics roles

• GRC / Risk platforms: MetricStream, Riskonnect, or equivalent
