JOB SUMMARY

• We are looking for a Creative Planner (Manager Level) to lead our designers (under Creative Team) and drive innovative licensing projects. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, creative ideation and team leadership.
• Our Creative Planner will be instrumental in pitching projects, identifying new creative opportunities, and ensuring our designs not only meet licensee needs but also align with the essence of our characters.

Job Description:

New Pitch

• Identify potential prospects and develop creative concepts that align with both clients’ business needs and the brand identity of our licensed characters.
• Work closely with the Licensing & Marketing team, Brand Assurance team, to craft compelling pitch presentations.
• Visualize ideas by collaborating with designers to develop mood boards, concept designs, and mock-ups.
• Present pitches convincingly to prospects, demonstrating a deep understanding of character licensing and branding strategies.

Creative & Design Leadership

• Oversee creative direction for various licensing projects, ensuring all outputs reflect both the licensees’ objectives and the unique value of the licensed characters, and be approved by licensors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external licensees, licensors to bring creative projects to reality.
• Ensure high-quality design outputs that meet both market trends and licensor expectations.

Team Management & Development

• Lead and mentor the designers, fostering growth and skill development among designers.
• Allocate projects effectively, ensuring each designer works on tasks suited to their strengths.
• Host training sessions, knowledge-sharing workshops, and performance evaluations to enhance team capabilities.
• Establish and refine creative workflows, ensuring timely delivery and maintain quality standards.
• Work closely with Brand Assurance to ensure all concepts, designs adhere to character guidelines and brand requirements.

Job Requirement:

• 5+ years of experience in creative planning, design strategy, or related fields, preferably in character licensing, branding, advertising, or entertainment industries.
• Strong background in concept development, visual storytelling and pitching.
• Good presentation skills with the ability to sell creative ideas convincingly.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) and experience working with designers.
• Generate deep understanding of character branding and licensing business.
• Fluency in English.
• Well-manner, discipline, optimistic, strong passion to work, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
