About the role

As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic technology leadership and driving innovation within our organization. You will oversee the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions that align with our business objectives and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Application Development: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality web applications that align with business objectives and user requirements.
• System Optimization: Lead the creation and implementation of high-performance systems, ensuring code efficiency and scalability.
• Testing Implementation: Establish and enforce comprehensive unit and integration testing protocols to guarantee application reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Product team to understand customer needs and translate them into user-friendly, scalable solutions.
• Incident Management: Participate in post-mortem analyses and incident management processes to continuously enhance the reliability and performance of products.
• Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as assigned by the executive team to support organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years in a Chief Technology Officer role or a similar position.
• Business Acumen: Strong business insight with the ability to align technology strategies with overall organizational objectives.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading diverse technology teams to achieve strategic goals.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of software development, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative, effective solutions.
• Strategic Planning: Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Data Security: Understanding of intellectual property rights and data security best practices.
