Business Operation Lead (JLPT N2+)

Responsibilities

1. Business Strategy Development & Hypothesis Validation

• Analyze Vietnam market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs using both quantitative and qualitative data, combined with insights from local partners
• Define target segments, including Japanese enterprises in Vietnam and local Vietnamese companies, and validate value propositions by combining the company’s diagnostic tools with partner consulting services
• Engage pilot clients through partner networks and advisory channels to gather feedback and continuously refine the offering

2. Business Strategy Execution & Sales (Direct and Partner-led)

• Design and implement lead generation strategies, leveraging both internal channels and partner ecosystems
• Develop localized sales materials and consulting frameworks in both Japanese and Vietnamese for direct sales and joint sales activities
• Participate in B2B negotiations, drive deal closure, and standardize sales processes for both internal operations and partner collaboration

3. Partnership Management

• Establish shared KPIs with partners and manage execution progress and day-to-day coordination
• Analyze partner-driven insights and feed them back into overall business strategy and product development
• Act as a key liaison to bridge cultural and communication gaps, ensuring effective and seamless collaboration between stakeholders

Requirements

• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above, with the ability to lead and facilitate meetings effectively
• Proven experience in team leadership and business operations at a Leader level or higher
• Hands-on experience in building and executing new business initiatives or working in startup environments
• Strong self-driven mindset with the ability to learn and grow in fast-changing, unstructured environments

Nice to have

• Experience in HR-related fields, including in-house HR or recruitment agencies
• Basic knowledge of labor law, taxation, and social insurance regulations
• Foundational financial knowledge, including understanding of P&L and balance sheet
• Experience working with Japanese stakeholders or executive leadership to drive business outcomes
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to consolidate issues and align stakeholders toward solutions
