Senior System Engineer

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and upkeep of operating systems, software applications, and infrastructure management tools.
• Monitor and maintain all systems and infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement security measures, backup solutions, and redundancy strategies to protect data and ensure business continuity.
• Optimize system availability and minimize downtime through proactive performance management.
• Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with development teams to implement effective solutions.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to design cost-effective systems aligned with project budgets and business objectives.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Participate in the design and architecture of IT and operational support systems.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and IT teams to resolve technical issues and ensure system efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English
• At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering or related roles, with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and system management tools.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with database management and data storage solutions.
• Deep understanding of security best practices and data protection regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues effectively.
• Experience in root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
