Job Description

  • Responsible for being the layer of response to all network, servers’ events, application logs and alerts/alarm from the network monitoring system and its dashboard.
  • Collect and review performance reports for various systems and report trends in hardware, application performance and system resources to assist team to predict future issues or outages.
  • Perform daily system checks to ensure critical systems and services are operational
  • Provides subject matter expertise of understanding the dashboard monitoring, threshold, alerts, and metrics.
  • Provide timely and rapidly response to all incidents, outage, and performance alerts.
  • Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate resolver group based on standard operating procedure.
  • Know, understand, and be able to follow SLA requirement to ensure they are met.
  • Be able to differentiate between incident and service requests and follow the appropriate process to convert into a ticket or request.
  • Identify and provide insight to a recurring incident and assist in the root cause resolution analysis where required.
  • Tracking and documenting network issues and compiling incident reports.
  • Communicate with client to collect information or verify their situation as frontline support. In case the escalation needs to involve many teams into a meeting or a call, you are the one will be leading or hosting it.
  • Effectively manage customer communications, escalations, and satisfaction.
  • Work effectively with the team in transitioning the workload through to colleagues in the 24 hours roster with clear notes, instructions and information for handover.
  • Add value to team performance & vision by proposal, strategy, or roadmap.
  • Must possess the ability to collaborate and work successfully with remote peers and teams.
  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineer or a similar field.
  • 4+ years of experience in an Infrastructure and managing the NOC environment.
  • Aware of standard network best practices and integration of all tools.
  • English: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible with shifting schedule.
  • Work effectively with colleagues or by your own.
  • Researching and collecting information skills.
  • Experience from a position working cross-organizational and Global scale.
  • Problem Solving, analytic and process thinking.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.

Good to have but not required:

  • Any related Network Certification or Courses.
  • At least has experienced in ServiceNow as ticketing tool is advantage.
  • Knowledge and usage of Grafana or Zabbix is advantage.
  • Has experienced working on configuring and developing of dashboard management structure tools.
