About the Project:

We’re seeking a skilled Rust Developer to join a 3-month project focused on building and maintaining backend components of a high-performance system. The developer will work closely with our technical team to deliver robust, secure, and efficient backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services written in Rust.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Rust in production environments.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, memory management, and concurrency in Rust.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Availability to work full-time in Eastern Standard Time (EST) timezone.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WebAssembly, Blockchain, or Smart Contract development.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar technologies.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Work Mode: Remote

Duration: 3 months (with potential extension depending on performance)
