Product Manager (Aquafeed)

The Product Manager Aquafeed Vietnam will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fish and shrimp product strategies that will bring overall profitability and sustainability.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the job holder will be in charge of managing the life cycle of existing and new aquafeeds at the country level and support the Sales and Marketing departments. Moreover, he/she will occasionally be involved in some aquafeed projects for exports markets in Southeast Asia.

Key accountabilities

- Support the product development and conduct related external trials.

- Identify product benefits, define the product positioning and drive the launch.

-  Monitor the new and existing product performances and define necessary improvements.

- Manage the formulation of some major fish and shrimp feed ranges by working on least cost feed formulation.

- Investigate new markets/species and identify potential new products or required adjustments of existing solutions.

- Guide the Marketing and Sales teams with technical support and training.

- Support the marketing and communication strategy.

- Academic degree in Life Science, Aquaculture, Animal Nutrition, Marketing, etc... with strong affinity for the Aquaculture industry.

- Ideally relevant practical experiences in product development and management for shrimp and fish feed. Experience in feed formulation is of interest but not necessary.

- Fluent Vietnamese and good English level are required. Both male and female can apply.

- The work location will be in HCMC but trips to other provinces will occur regularly. Short term trips to Southeast Asian countries can also occasionally happen.
