Virtual Brands Australia (VBA) is a fast-growing startup in the virtual brands and ghost kitchen space. We partner with venues across the country to enhance their offerings and profitability. We’re looking for a Finance/Remittance Specialist to support our Head of Finance in managing backend financial operations and partner remittances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage backend financial processes, including reconciliation and reporting.
- Assist the Head of Finance with remittances for business partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee financial transactions related to delivery platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash.
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to improve efficiency and performance.
- Maintain organized records for compliance and audits.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid setup.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Availability to work 2 days per week.
