• Promote and support Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, principles, and values.
• Ensure the Scrum process is effectively implemented and functioning properly.
• Coach the team on using Scrum practices and values to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Guide the Scrum team in self-organization and foster team accountability.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and other meetings as required, such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Help the team complete their work without coercion, assigning, or dictating tasks.
• Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and resolution of conflicts.
• Assist the team in identifying, minimizing, and eliminating impediments.
• Support the team using a servant leadership approach, enabling their growth and development.
• Aid the Scrum team in achieving higher levels of maturity in Scrum practices.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to enhance the organization’s Scrum implementation.
• Foster a safe environment where team members can raise concerns without fear of blame or judgment.
• Boost team morale and address challenges when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Solid knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
• Familiarity with the technologies used by the development team.
• Analytical skills to solve problems and eliminate obstacles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, and team-building abilities.
• Certified Scrum Master certification is a plus.
