Java Developer (Onsite Bank)

• Participate in building and enhancing backend solutions for large-scale banking applications
• Work closely with BA, QC, DevOps, and other technical teams to deliver business-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain API services following REST standards and microservice architecture principles
• Monitor and improve system efficiency, reliability, and security to satisfy banking compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot technical issues, fix defects, and support production incidents when required
• Design and optimize database operations across relational and non-relational database systems
• Support connectivity between banking platforms, payment gateways, and other enterprise systems
• Produce maintainable, high-quality source code aligned with coding standards and best practices
• Assist in deployment automation and continuous integration/delivery activities
• Create and maintain technical specifications, architecture documents, and implementation guides

Requirements

• Around 2–3 years of experience working with Java backend technologies
• Good practical knowledge of Spring ecosystem tools such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security
• Understanding of microservice-based application development
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful services and APIs
• Familiar with database systems including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Knowledge of ORM technologies like Hibernate or JPA
• Experience with event-driven or messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent majors
• Able to communicate effectively in English; Korean language skills are considered a plus
• Exposure to Oracle SQL, reporting systems, or MIS-related solutions is an added advantage
