HSE Assistant/Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for for ensure that AB Mauri Vietnam operations are in compliance with environmental, safety and health regulations and standards of Vietnam and ABF.

Responsibilities

General:

• Ensure the compliance of environmental, health and safety with the requirements of all the regulations applicable by Vietnam laws and ABF standard.
• Keeping up to date with relevant changes in environmental, health and safety legislation including international legislation and ABF standard where applicable
• Be responsible for implementing all environmental, health, and safety programs within the Viet Nam.

Environment:

• Planning, manage, check and control the environmental protection work inside and outside the company
• Maintain the environmental permits as per regulation (EIA, Water discharge permits…)
• Prepare environmental reports according to the requirements of Vietnam's environmental law (Report on discharge, report on environmental protection,....) and requirements of ABF Group (Report on greenhouse gases, etc.)·

Safety and Health:

• Develop policies, rules, processes and measures to ensure occupational safety and health, fire and explosion prevention within the company
• Managing and implementing activities related to Occupational Safety and Hygiene, and Fire Prevention and Control of the Company to ensure compliance with Vietnam Laws and ABF standard
• Assess risks, identify hazards, unsafe conditions, unsafe jobs and recommend corrective and preventive measures
• Prepare safety reports according to the requirements of Vietnam law and ABF
• Make training schedule and conduct training relating to SHE
• Other assignments provided by Line Manager

• Bachelor's degree or College's degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years working experience in SHE, production and 2 years management experience
• Expertise knowledge in SHE and basic knowledge in food safety
• Strong verbal or written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
