Job Description
- Create visually stunning video assets and content
- Participates in planning meetings with producers as needed
- Prepares storyboards (when not prepared by art director/designer)
- Knowledge of rotoscoping, keying and compositing (low priority)
- Works directly with producer, writer, music composers; communicating and updating information as necessary with regards to schedules, overages & revisions
- Responsible for establishing guidelines for desktop images to be used in animation sequences
- Backs up all files at end of job
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years’ experience with Adobe After Effects in an advertising agency environment or equivalent Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CINEMA 4D
- Ability to work independently, as well as under the direction of producers, within strict time constraints
- A keen eye for detail and a critical mind Ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
- Self-motivated to explore new technologies and programs
- Musical Knowledge -synchronize motion and events to music is an essential part of being a motion graphics designer. Have an understanding of how music is structured and an ear for the subtle nuances in music which can act as cues for motion.
- Visual range_ Utilize a variety of styles to tell a variety of stories
- Adaptability to changing trends_ Embrace changing styles to suit a specific visual genre
