Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend business logic using modern .NET frameworks
• Play a key role in upgrading a large existing platform and shaping its future architecture
• Design and improve both REST and GraphQL APIs
• Review and optimize current code, data structures, and technical workflows
• Write automated tests and build good software quality habits
• Join code reviews and share your ideas in technical discussions
• Work closely with frontend developers, testers, product managers, and architects
• Spot technical risks early and help the team keep getting better

Requirement

• Solid years of coding experience using C# and .NET
• Good understanding of clean code and building easy-to-maintain software
• Experience with relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server
• Proven background in designing and connecting APIs
• Comfortable working with and understanding large and complex existing systems
• Practice with automated testing and a focus on software quality
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Experience using AI coding helpers or a strong desire to learn them
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework
• Working knowledge of GraphQL
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud and Docker containers
• Background in splitting large monolith applications into smaller pieces
• Experience working on enterprise or ERP software environments
• History of helping with large software modernization projects
