• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team (Project Leader, Software Developer, UI/UX Designer, etc.) to evaluate and understand client requirements.
• Research and propose modern technologies suitable for Japanese clients, especially in the field of Karaoke applications.
• Analyze product requirements, provide estimations, and design test strategies for software under test.
• Track and resolve identified bugs, ensure proper fixes, and perform regression testing to maintain product stability.
• Promote process improvements and share industry best practices with team members to enhance testing efficiency and quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to boost QA/QC performance and product quality.
• Proactively monitor testing progress, identify and mitigate risks related to: Bug leakage and Release timeline delays
• Lead the research and implementation of new tools and technologies in testing, pioneering their application in real-world projects to improve testing capabilities.

Job requirement

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of working experience as a QA/QC Engineer, with a strong track record in ensuring product quality and reliability.
• Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices across multiple development environments.
• Strong expertise in testing methodologies, including: Performance Testing using JMeter, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, API Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute end-to-end test strategies, test cases, and test specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N3 or above), capable of communicating with Japanese clients.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with diverse project domains such as: Fintech, Human Resources (HR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain
• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities in cross-functional environments.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
