DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy HR Manager to join our innovative IT company. This role will assist in managing the overall HR functions and support the HR Manager or General Director in implementing HR strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
1. HR Strategy and Planning:
- Assist the HR Manager or General Director in developing and executing HR strategies that support the company’s goals and business objectives.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs that enhance organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
2. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for technical and non - technical positions.
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
- Work with HOD to identify staffing needs, source candidates, and oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
3. Employee Performance and Development:
- Support the management of the performance appraisal process, ensuring regular feedback and continuous employee development.
- Assist in designing and implementing training programs to enhance employees' skills, capabilities, and professional growth.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify training needs and evaluate effectiveness.
4. Compensation and Benefits:
- Assist in managing compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company budgets.
- Research the salary market to ensure the company is paying competitively within the industry and adjusting when necessary.
5. Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general workplace concerns.
- Assist in managing employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling of complaints and disputes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment to enhance employee engagement and retention.
6. HR Administration and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in ensuring the company complies with all local and international HR regulations, including workplace safety standards.
- Support audits and internal HR reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure legal compliance.
7. HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Help prepare regular HR reports including manpower, performance data, turnover rates, and training effectiveness.
- Provide HR analytics insights to support decision-making processes within the company.
8. Support in HR Projects:
- Assist in the planning and execution of HR-related projects such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and organizational development plans.
- Support change management processes and other strategic initiatives as required.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- At least 3-5 years of HR lead experience, ideally in the IT or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in an IT or tech company, with a solid understanding of the unique HR needs in the industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
