• Work onsite at the client’s office in Japan and closely collaborate with stakeholders
• Analyze and understand functional requirement specifications provided by the client
• Support preparation and clarification of basic design documents based on client guidelines
• Communicate and confirm design documents with the client to ensure alignment before detailed design
• Develop detailed design and implement features following agreed specifications
• Perform coding, code review, and ensure adherence to development standards
• Execute testing activities including unit test (UT), integration test (IT), system test (ST), and support user acceptance test (UAT)
• Prepare test cases based on design documents and ensure test coverage quality
• Report project progress, issues, and risks to the Project Manager and client on a regular basis

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in Japanese projects
• Minimum 1 year of experience in requirement analysis and specification definition
• Minimum 1 year of experience in detailed design
• At least 2 years of experience in Java development and code review
• At least 2 years of experience in writing and executing test cases (UT/IT)
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with enterprise frameworks such as Spring, Struts, or equivalent (Nablarch is a plus)
• Familiarity with Linux environments (Red Hat is an advantage)
• Knowledge of middleware such as Apache, Tomcat, job scheduling tools, or file transfer tools is a plus
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Proficiency in tools such as Git, Redmine, or similar project tracking systems
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in cross-cultural environments
• Good task management, problem-solving ability, and logical thinking
• Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or higher, with ability to communicate and write technical documents with Japanese clients
• High responsibility, process compliance, attention to detail, and proactive working attitude
• Prior onsite experience in Japan or experience in enterprise/energy-related systems is a strong advantage
