We are building a growing remote engineering team that supports energy audit and building performance projects in Singapore. You will work closely with licensed Professional Engineers (Mechanical) to prepare technical data, analyze building systems, and maintain energy performance records for commercial, healthcare, and institutional clients.
This is a remote role based in Vietnam, ideal for engineers with facility management or building operations experience who want to work on high-quality, international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and organize building data (GFA, equipment lists, energy bills, floor plans).
- Perform basic energy benchmarking and calculations (EUI, cooling loads, lighting density).
- Review M&E / HVAC drawings to extract plant information and equipment capacities.
- Draft preliminary Level 1 energy audit reports and dashboards for review by licensed PEs.
- Support ongoing energy monitoring: update data sheets, track energy trends, and prepare summary reports.
- Communicate remotely with Singapore‑based teams for data clarification and updates.
- (Optional) Assist in building simulation or retrofit analysis with tools like EnergyPlus or RETScreen.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3 – 7 years experience in facility management, MEP, or building services roles.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, lighting, pumps, and chiller operations.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets analytic skills; ability to handle data accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication in English (intermediate to advanced).
- Self‑motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented when managing multiple projects.
Preferred / Advantageous
- Prior exposure to energy audits, Green Mark, or ISO 50001 projects.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, BMS data, or simulation tools (EnergyPlus, RETScreen).
- Experience preparing technical documentation for international clients.
Work Arrangement
- Remote, full‑time or part‑time (contract basis).
- Regular collaboration with the Singapore technical team through online tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, Trello, etc.).
