• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for mobile games (authentication, inventory, leaderboard, matchmaking, social features, payment, etc.)
• Implement and optimize server-side game logic for multiplayer (real-time or turn-based)
• Design and manage databases to ensure high performance, scalability, and stability under large concurrent users
• Work closely with client-side developers (Unity/Cocos) to integrate APIs, synchronize data, and resolve issues
• Develop internal tools (CMS, dashboards, GM tools) to support game operations and data analysis
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment
• Configure and manage infrastructure (AWS/GCP, VPS, or on-premise servers depending on project needs)
• Monitor system performance, logs, and incidents; detect and resolve issues proactively (on-call support if required)
• Perform system maintenance, data backup, and ensure data security
• Support log extraction and user data queries for operations and issue handling

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Applied Mathematics, or related fields, with at least 1.5 years of backend development experience
• Strong experience with NestJS for backend development
• Good understanding of databases:
• RDBMS: MySQL, PostgreSQL
• NoSQL/Caching: MongoDB, Redis or Memcached
• Understanding of game server architecture (stateful/stateless, WebSocket, gRPC); experience with game server engines (e.g., Nakama, Photon) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of system infrastructure and operations:
• Linux environment
• Docker and containerization
• Basic Kubernetes or orchestration tools
• Web servers (Nginx/Traefik)
• Networking basics (firewall, load balancing)
