Senior Java Developer (Core Banking)

• Build, enhance, and support Core Banking and Financial Gateway solutions
• Develop backend applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
• Connect banking platforms with external payment and settlement systems
• Create and fine-tune Oracle SQL queries for transaction handling and reporting functions
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, deployment activities, production support, and ongoing maintenance
• Work closely with banking stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver secure and compliant solutions
• Analyze system architecture and code quality while recommending scalable technical approaches
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring support for junior developers
• Operate effectively in large-scale, highly regulated banking environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in software development in banking or financial services
• Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience working with Core Banking, Payment Gateways or financial transaction systems
• Strong experience of Oracle Database and Oracle SQL
• Basic understanding of JavaScript
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in large-scale enterprise and compliance-oriented environments
• Experience in outsourcing or global delivery models is considered a plus
• Fluent English communication skills
