• Lead the design and development of backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Define and implement scalable microservices architectures and API contracts.
• Design RESTful APIs with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and evolution.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, including serverless components.
• Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 4+ years of experience in Java development in complex, enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+ and Spring Boot with the ability to design and own services.
• Proven experience designing and leading development of RESTful APIs and microservices systems.
• Solid understanding of system design principles, scalability, and distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of OAuth2 and security design (e.g., grant types, token validation, edge cases).
• Strong experience with API versioning strategies and lifecycle management (including deprecation and migration).
• Ability to design and implement rate-limiting strategies and policies.
• Experience designing resilience strategies (circuit breakers, retries, backoff, fallback mechanisms).
• Strong experience in caching strategy design, including invalidation and consistency handling.
• Advanced database knowledge: schema design, performance tuning, indexing, and capacity planning.
• Experience designing event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka), including partitioning, ordering, idempotency, and failure recovery.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda).
• Strong experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments and leading technical discussions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
